Here is my rough country hybrid. I know there is not a grill guard but the weight of this is only 40 lbs. With my winch it was around 120 lbs total. Sits nicely on the front and even allows the winch to sit low as to not obstruct air flow. All that for 225$? I couldnt pass it up. Also Rough Country said they may later make a bolt on stinger of some sort but I dont care as I used the stock JK tow hooks and I feel it is just right.

Without. But this pic still has the winch plate, otherwise it would be flat across the top.
I know its an old topic, but i have one question for you, how good are the light brackets on your grille guard during off-road and daily usage? Do you have to re-tighten them every once in a while? Do they hold fine?

The ACE one that John posted is nice and does come with a winch plate. It is the strongest out of the bunch since it comes in 1/4" steel. Also, it comes powder coated black! The only other ones that I can think of that does is the LOD's.

PSC is nice with their Brawler Lite lineup. They also just released a tall stinger option for this bumper that will be popular.

But, you were talking light weigt. Have you looked at the aluminum offerings from GenRight?

-Jason
Hey Jason,

Yea, I have perused genright's briefly. Can you get that same bumper you posted without all the fancy pants business around the grille?

Now I remember why I stopped looking at the GenRights. No factory fogs (or so it appears)

In my case, to me, the XHD is really common since it is readily available and modular. I do like my bumper but it isn't designed beautifully like the PSC Brawler Lite or anything else PSC makes. Outfitting an XHD with end caps, hoops/stingers gets expensive in a hurry. With what I paid total for the bumper and stinger I could have got a JCR or ACE stubby or added a little more money and got a PSC Brawler Lite.

So, personally, if I was in your predicament choosing between the Brawler Lite and aluminum XHD, I would still go with the Brawler Lite.
