Pierce07 bad connection to the starter?

You can take a screwdriver and hit the two terminals on the starter at the same time and that should make it crank. And if it does it might be something going to the starter from the ignition.

Just make sure it's in neutral.

Is it throwing any codes? Check for codes also. Just because the check engine light isn't on doesn't mean it hasn't thrown a code.

yellowbeast01 it doesn't do anything. no click. nothing. all of the electronics not related to the ignition sequence work. i am going to try pushing the thing and popping the clutch. and i haven't yet tried to test the alternator, but i don't even know if that would cause the problem.
