Fishnhuntforever If your not doing any serious articulation larger tires will be good with the D35. However anything serious will require a truss for the D35. The weak point is the welds where the axle tubes meet the housing. Bigger tires put more weight and stress at this point. Something to consider. Superior makes a truss for this.

draarong2004 should be safe with 35's, maybe 37's, but i wouldn't do any hardcore wheeling with it unless your axles are upgraded...i've got 35's on my jeep with a 4" rc lift and bushwacker extended flares...and i only rub on the front after i've climbed something roughly 1.5 feet tall....i don't plan on wheeling it with the 35's though....not till i upgrade my rear axle..it doesn't look half bad though with only a 4" kit

4Jeepn For just stuffing them in there..max I would think on a good day would be a 37x12.50x15. Now as for using that other than on road.. I don't think it would be that great.

STUUPID I ran 35x12.50 mud terrains on a 15x8 rim and did not rub. I put M.O.R.E. body bushings gives about 1" of lift and now run 36" 12.50 on 15x8 rim and just have the factory flares trimmed a little. At full flex I catch the body a little but not bad enough to hurt anything. And I beat the crap outta my jeep!

Fishnhuntforever Fit without rubbing issues? Do you plan on cutting fenders? I definitely wouldn't run 40's unless it is a pavement pounder. My 35's rub on my fender wells and bushwhackers when articulated with 5 and 1/2" of lift. That is not crazy hardcore wheeling either.
