|peck1959||You really ought to read the first sticky in tires category, "largest tire for your stock JK". It answers all of your questions.|

I didn't fully understand what you were talking about when you were saying "6"
.... when you say 5 it makes complete sense.

OHHHHH!!!! That makes much more sense.
Very Easy question to answer...
The 5 is the number of bolts and the second number is the distance in inches from one bolt to the one across from it. A stock JK Wrangler is 5X5in
No problem at all

|iinSaNe CaRNaGe||And im looking at bolt pattern because I need wheels for the tires, and also what wheels would fit 33x12.50x15 best either 15x10 15x8?|

|iinSaNe CaRNaGe||Sorry man, I meant to put 5, when you look at wheels, bolt patterns are always 5-5.5 or 5-4.5, and I dont understand the difference. I know the 5 is the number of lug nuts but what is the number after the 5 for? And how do I figure out if im 5-5.5 or 5-4.5? And thanks a lot! You really helped with the back spacing! Thanks!|

I am sorry but I don't understand what your looking at bolt pattern for?
Basically what I can tell you in terms of tires on stock rims: 33in x 11in inch is really your maxim before you start rubbing on the air dam/ suspension.
Find out the back spacing on the wheels you want to put on. The less back spacing, the more room you will have for larger tires. Stock back-spacing on 17in moab wheels is about 6.25inchs. If you want to put tires on that are wider then 11 inches you will need to push the wheels further away from the wheel wells so they don't rub anything, you do that by either putting on wheel spacers or buying wheels that have less backspacing

Mickey classic lock black wheel,
Either 15x8 or 15x10 im not sure which ones will fit better, and I don't know the exact bolt pattern but its 6 something, if you could give your opinnion on which size would be best and explain how I figure out the bolt Patten I would greatly appercaite it!

I would like to say that it depends on how much backspacing there is. Most Steel 15in wheels have less then 3.75" of backspacing which should be plenty of room.
What kind of Wheels are you going to be putting these tires on?
If you do rub, Just put some washers on your steering stop

The "front air dam" is the guard thing under the front end between the tires??
Thanks so much man!

Might rub the front air dam. Just trim or remove it.
Your 15" aftermarket wheels will have less backspacing which will push the tire out some and allow for the wider tire.
No problamo .... Sweet tire BTW

Will they rub??
I have a 2012 jk and i've been looking at Baja MTZ 33x12.50x15 and i have done research but i haven't found what i was looking for. So I am wondering if the MTZ's will Rub or contact anything on a stock, not lifted 2012 JK. I'm willing to get wheel spacers and maybe flares but not sure if i want to lift yet.
So will they rub with no spacers no lift, completely bone stock????
Needs "manning" up
Thanks in advance!!
