j.coulter It ended up being about 30 minutes from me as well, but it was a nice little Saturday morning drive. Could have done without the 100 deg weather though!

j.coulter Turned out pretty good. I took Ten Mile Rd for about a mile and was a little disappointed because it just looked like a gravel driveway. I did notice some trails that dropped off into the creek though. Then, I crossed a main road and back down into the woods. I knew I had found what I was looking for. I think it is actually called Beech Creek Rd, Mt. Eden, Ky. It's about 10 minutes past Taylorsville Lake State Park. The attached pictures are from the good part of the trail. I'd say it's probably about a mile of mud and rocks, it's a public county road. There was some steep parts and one nice creek to cross. Very fun for beginners I would say! I would like to go back again with someone else to try some of the trails that duck off to the sides. I didn't want to get too deep into it as I was by myself.
If anyone is interested, I would lead you out there and play around a little!

Bluegrass Got me interested... How did it turn out?

j.coulter OK, so after coming in from searching last night, I did some more research on the interwebs and think I found it. Last night i was looking between Mt. Washington and Taylorsville and it turns out I was on the wrong side of Taylorsville. I did find a nice spot however it had a No Trespassing sign. You could tell it was definitely used by ATVs and trucks though!
From what I'm reading, 10 Mile is off 44 on an old county road past Taylorsville, heading toward Taylorsville Lake. I think I'll go check it out and see if I can find it this morning before it gets too hot...

j.coulter I wonder if the mythological "10 mile" is across from Waterford Park... I found a place that drops off the side of the creek that could be it off Waterford Loop, but it could also be private farm land. There is definitely truck/jeep tracks...

Shadowkraze Just read your post on 502SS.. lol.

DTOR is all I know around here. 10 mile is a rumor, I've yet to find anyone that can take me there in the last 3-4 years, but I haven't tried that hard either. I have from land in So.Ky (scottsville) I run around on.. But for up here DTOR is it unless anyone chimes in with some private land they will allow us to play on.

Where to Ride...

2001 TJ here dying to get dirty! I'm still a rookie, so nothing crazy. I live in Mt. Washington, just a few minutes south of Louisville. I know there is the Dirty Turtle in Bedford, just wondering if anyone knows of anything closer? I heard something about a place called "10 Mile" in Taylorsville. Anyone heard of it?
