Looks great Gus!!!

G54 No problem. Its just two small phillips screws holding the plastic piece at the end of the frame into a sleeve. Easy.

Thanks I appreciate the info. I'll try it later today

G54 Wasnt hard at all. I did a section at a time as I had the time. Two coats. Scuffed up the original red and wiped it down with, cant remember the name of the stuff atm. Ill post it later. Anyway, took about eleven cans of Krylon Fusion olive camoflague. No clear coat. I keep extra on hand for touch up. So far holding up good even when power washed.

budke You have inspired me to paint my jeep OD. My old YJ had the same color scheme. It had the sahara green but it was faded just enough to look OD, with the tan top, thats what I want!
How hard was it to paint all of it and about how many can's and coats did you do?
Any clear coat?

G54 Nope. The military jeeps didnt have any flairs in the rear. Plus i just love water and mud spraying up all over! ;-)

schnutzy looks good man. are you going to run some kind of flare in the back to match the front?
09-26-2012 04:11 PM
G54 Thanks! Start the other side tomorrow and hopefully wrap it up Friday. Sucks doing things an hour or two at a time but ya gotta work to pay for mods!
