jefferyfghezzi YOU need nutserts. I have a 2005 which has 4 per step. I think you need 6 or a per step. Take a 1/2 inch drill bit and stick in into the hole in the frame. If it is close to the same diameter I have plenty of nutserts. I bought 100 because the dealer wanted 3.75ea. and I'm too cheap.

Stock Side Step Install Help

Bought some stock side steps for my 97 tj jeep today. I can't figure out how I'm going to mount them as the holes in the frame have no extra room around them to hold a nut inside. Has anyone else run into this issue before and how did you solve it? Thanks!
