I picked the middle of the road...RE 4" Superflex Suspension lift + monotube shocks. Saved some cash and re-used the original rims (15x8) put 33" x 10.5 TSL's.
Great kit and you do not need to donate a kidney.

|GrnTJ||I agree 2" bb and 1" bl is a good way to clear 33's for mild wheeling until you can get a full kit. If he doesnt want to mess around or he has the $$ right now he might as well get long arms because thats what we all strive for in the end, lol.|

|98TJSahara||I agree with all imput, however I've been running the RE 2" BB with 33 x 12.5's for almost two years now. It is a temp. thing til i can get more $$ for the RE 4.5 long arm. But it looks great, i get a lot of looks and compliments. Plus the install was cake. I have now installed the 1 "BL. So 2" + 1" and 33's is far from stock, decent clearance, good daily driver and not too expenisve. ($300+) w/o tires|

2" Budget boost and body lift.
Since it is a Rubicon, it will not need the MML because it has the CV driveshaft in the rear.

Iím new to this thread thing.
Iím trying to do the same with my 04 X what would be a good lift?
Iím looking to do a bit more aggressive wheeling and my 31s arenít giving me clearance Iím looking for.

|GrnTJ||Better way=RE 4.5" long arm kit|

Cheap things are seldom good, and Good Things are seldom cheap.
Tell him to save up for a complete lift kit.
But if he has to have it now, the 2" spacer and body lift would work.

|richp||The better way is with a real lift kit, if he wants inches now go for what you want up front, don't try to sneak up on it, sneaking up on it gets more expensive in the long run.|

Guy at work
Dude has a stock '04 Rubicon, original owner, no mods. He asked me the cheapest way to get 33's underneath it. I told him a 2" BB and a 1.25 BL, with a 1"mml, and new wheels, or spacers. you got a better way?
