eboven If you just want to unplug it, you don't have to take the console completely out... Unbolt the screws in the cup holders (front and rear) and lift up around the front cup holders where the console splits. There will be a white wire harness connector there that you can unplug without too much trouble. It may be attached to the console, so don't pull on the console sections too hard. Just un-clip the retainer pin, separate the two connectors, and reassemble the console.

Easiest way to just unhook center sub?

Got an 04 Columbia Edition.
I don't want to replace the blown sub that's in my center console. I just want to disconnect the thing. I can barely stand having the radio on due to the crap noise the speaker makes. I don't even see the point of having a speaker/sub there. I'll add subs at some point this summer, but they'll be in the back for sure. Just wondering if there's a simple fix out there instead of taking the entire center console out to work on it.
