ccain Jon,

I viewed your welcome message earlier but just didn't know what to say.

It is because of great men, such as your son, that we have the freedom to converse here and take part in hobbies such as wheeling.
I know I can speak for the rest of the Vets on this forum when I say we salute your son. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. The ultimate sacrifice your son made is a testament to the spirit of freedom and dedication to this nation that most in this country take for granted or overlook. I thank your son and I thank you. I am honored that you are here with us.

tiny terror Welcome to the forum, Jon. I'm so sorry for your loss, and our loss as well. Your son's service will forever be appreciated by those who understand. Tell us where you're located so we can help you get on the trail with some new buddies.

New to wheelin

I am just now getting into Jeepin, Wheelin and joining the forums. I got my first Jeep, a 2004 TJ Sport in 2005. Then fell in love with a 2006 Unlimited in 2007. Sold my '04 to my son.

I have done some upgrades to my Jeep... 2" Rubicon Lift, Xenon Flares, 32" BFGs, Banks Catback, Edge Intake and chip... Planning new gears for Christmas with a locker, and I'm still trying to choose my recovery gear.

My son always hoped we would wheel together... Andrew was a Combat Medic with the 173rd ABN Brigade in Afghanistan. He was killed by an IED on 31 May 2008. His Jeep became my my Jeep again...

I just don't want to loose his dream that I would start wheelin my Jeep... So here I am looking for friends to spend time with on the trail.
