yea i am a crazy ass so if your even in IL and see a topless doorless jeep in the middle of january that is me. Takes me a lot to get cold and would rather not hurt my rag top in the cold.

Thx Bob
Fuse #20 located behind the glove box is designed specifically to be pulled to keep the interior lights off when the doors are off. It's cool because once that fuse is pulled, you can still turn the interior lights on as usual with the dashlight dimmer control.

So what have you done so far? The hinge pin nut at the bottom of the hinge pin is off right?

Jerry Bransford So long as you have two rear-view mirrors, it's legal in Calif. to remove your doors. There are "mirror-mover" brackets that will allow you to move your two outside mirrors to brackets that bolt to the windshield hinge bracket. www.quadratec.com sells them.

removing doors?

Anyone know what the law is in Cali about removing my doors? Do I need to have them on or can I take them off? what about mirrors?

Thanks
