kenoharry Bought my acuator pin from Advance Auto Parts. Super easy to replace just watch the video.

RUBI 4 MY MRS The dealer won’t sell only the actuator pin for any year TJ but they are available from Dorman & NAPA. All years are the same.

Dorman 924-704
NAPA 620-1414

Here is a link with photos & on post 27 there is a video on replacing it.

dkells Im told I have the same problem with the actuator pin but I need to replace the entire steering column - could this be possible 05 Wrangler

kenoharry Figured it out. Not the ignition switch. It was the ignition switch actuator pin. $40 and 15 minutes labor my baby is working again!

ignition switch problem

Turned the key yesterday dash lit up and heard a click. Now key turns and will not turn off or start. 04 Wrangler X. Any ideas besides just switch?
