I got on a how it's made kick for awhile, but then it waned. I started watching too many show like it.
I've moved on to 'House'. Now I'm a junkie of that show. 'Cash Cab' is another current favorite.

|cavediverjc||I just caught the last part of an episode where they make guitars. I've seen it before, but I watched it just the same. I agree with you Doc......I do like watching how they make musical instruments. I watched an episode where they made electric violins. That was cool.|

|AzTJ||There is another version of that show on the Science Channel, the narrator is a little better.|

|amy||I watch it every chance I get. My kids even like it! I agree about the narrator, though. He reminds me of the old educational films we used to watch in grade school.|
|08-28-2008 12:06 AM|
|cavediverjc||I never really paid any attention to the narrator!! I could watch the show on mute, though, since most of my enjoyment comes from watching the machines. I need to get out more...............|

Lori and Allie think I'm sick for watching it.
The sad part is I even record it. I don't care if they are doing Injection molding or making taffy I'm in!

Haven't watched TV in like four months... I miss that show. Good thing we just picked a set up today (talked Cain out of the 50 inch).
The narrator is a little monotone though...

How It's Made
Does anyone else watch this show on the Discovery Channel? I admit....I am fascinated with this show! I'm constantly checking the TV Guide for when it's going to be aired. And, I've figured out that it's not exactly WHAT'S being made, it's the machines that are used to make whatever is being made. I love watching those assembly line machines do their thing. I think that's what fascinates me the most.
So, I'll admit to being a nerd if no one else watches this show, but not if there are others out there who watch it too!!
'Fess up folks..........................
