doclouie I put the skid in tonight and took lots of pictures of the bracket and what I did. I will post a write up when I have a minute of how to cut down the bracket and reattach etc for the exhaust. It is a very tight fit in there now. More later when I have some more time.

mark2215 I have a 2005 with manual tranny but I had to cut the exhaust bracket. I cut it in half then drilled a hole thru and bolted the two halves back together once I had the skid plate on and knew where I wanted the exhaust.

doclouie UCF said that it will need to be lowered because as you raise everything it would move it into the bottom of the tub so it will need to lowered. I will see how much when I get into it.

BLK00TJ Can't help ya bud. Just taggin' along since I'm going to eventually get this skid. Post up pics if you can and document. I'm not sure how the hanger can be raised unless it's cut and rewelded. Mine rusted away long ago and needs replacing. I was able to fix the rear but not the one under the tub.

Racer8102 I'm going to be doing the same exact install within the next week, so I'm curious also.

UCF Ultra High Clearance Skid Help

Okay I have a 2000 TJ with the auto tranny. I already have the Novak shifter installed along with my 1" Body Lift, 1" Motor Mount Lift & SYE. I talked to the guy at UCF and he said I needed to raise the exhaust bracket. I thought he said an inch, but do not really remember. This is my daily driver so I need to make sure all my ducks are in a row. Will the exhaust hanger be the only thing needed to be moved to pull this off in the same day? Anyone who has installed this skid with an auto tranny please chime in.
