Mmmm. Not necessarily. Look at the links I gave you in post #9. There are more folks running them than I thought.
Up to you. As always, though, it's best to do as much research as you can before adding something to your Jeep.

Dug this up on the search engine:
1.25" RC body lift install & pics.
leveling and body lift question
Oops. Looks like the guy I referred you to above (Hidrorayo) was the guy who had a problem putting a BL on a manual Wrangler. Here's his post: Problem shifting after installing 2.5" Coil lift kit & 1" Body Lift.

|Redsand||A 1 inch body lift is fine|

|kbwwolf||Just my preference...I think a member on here named Hidrorayo may be running one on his Jeep. Could be mistaken. You could try PM'ing him.|

|Socc3rakd25||getting 37s but i just dont know a lot about body lifts thats why I posted this thread in the first place. Obviously BL is a bad choice...|

If you've got a manual, a BL can mess up your shifting. Plus it just looks, well, horrendous on a JK.
My opinion, of course.
Do you really think you need 6" of lift? What're you running...40's?

|Socc3rakd25||Flares are on the list of things to do but i dont see how a 2 inch body lift could hurt. body lift is just for looks obviously|

Body lift for 2011 jk
Hey guys, I have a 2011 rubicon unlimited. I have a 4" teraflex suspension and I want a little more height on my jeep but don't want to tweak the suspension anymore. Does anyone know of a really good polyurethane body lift. preferably 2". All comments and suggestions are welcome!
