Out of the 4 of us I was the only one who didn't get stuck

Tightened down and blocked off vacuum ports

jasonh28 Both tom woods shafts are in. Thing drives awesome. Has tons of power. Also ordered a posi for the 8.8 yesterday and it arrived today. I would have got it done but I had to pull these roots out of my main sewer line

jasonh28 I bought an sye right away. I think the driveshaft would have been to short, the sye took 9 inches off the Tcase length and my I gained bout 6 inches of rear driveshaft length
07-08-2013 08:20 AM
theYeti Did you ever have to get an sye or was the drive shaft long enough?
07-08-2013 06:56 AM

jasonh28 Rubicon express 1.5 soa springs on the way, with molded floor mats smitty built stinger, new speaker boxes

jasonh28 Well I got it, another junk master cylinder I guess, I dug thru my parts and found a speedway master from when I was building my nova and it worked immediately, pumped the master a bit and air came out, pumped the slave by hand, bolted it in and it was good, but its stiff as hell and completely disengages only pushing it a couple inches
06-05-2013 09:41 PM
jasonh28 No clutch yet, really slowing me down, clueless on why I lost pressure
05-28-2013 02:18 AM
jasonh28 New master and slave cylinders, still no clutch pressure, its weird the fluid level rises in the reservoir when you push on the pedal and there's no pressure at all
05-24-2013 04:47 AM
jasonh28 Okay here's the update taking the jeep to a local shop, they quoted me $200 for exhaust, which will be 2.5 into a flowmaster 40 and 3" out. and I'm gonna have them use a power bleader in the clutch system to get that air bubble out, so I'll be driving, got a temporary driveshaft on the rear so ordering driveshafts will be the next expense.

You shoulda rolled the pinion up and point it towards the transfer case to eliminate angle when you welded spring perches on it but ya she makes a huge deference

jasonh28 Well drove it, tons of power runs great but in the process of getting the clutch working perfect, the I go out there and push the clutch to the floor, no resistance and no leaks, so idk what's up, maybe more air bubbles
04-16-2013 11:41 PM
jasonh28 Nice, I had to bend my shifter back so it didn't hit the dash in 1st 3rd and 5th, but now its against my leg in second lol, I'll have to put another bend in it, I ordered clutch line tonight, so she might move under her own power this weekend =D
04-16-2013 11:35 PM
southerntidefan I'm about an inch lower than you but this top load trans is already poking out of the floor about an inch too much. Lol. Letting it ride. The oil pan isn't even close to front drive shaft. As far as I can tell anyways the darn thing is going to be around 3'6"!

jasonh28 2-2 1/2 inches up, pictures deceiving

04-16-2013 08:23 PM
jasonh28 Sorry, just got home, headed to the garage in a sec I'll get ya pics
04-16-2013 07:43 PM
southerntidefan I went ahead and mounted it according to transmission placement but still would like to know so I'm not too far off
04-15-2013 11:50 PM
southerntidefan Thank you sir.

jasonh28 That sounds like it sits pretty low if they are even with the frame, I'll try to remember in the morning when I get off work, pretty sure mine sit up higher then that, I'll double check
