|tsteb||31's looks better than stock for sure. I have them on my jeep right now. went with the goodyear wrangler authority because they were cheap and looked good and had good reviews. i just want a lift to compliment them and have more clearance for light offroading. Hated bottoming out complete stock.this is what it looks like with 31's. [IMG][/IMG]|
First I would like to say... 31s with no lift looks like complete crap. If I wanted to shoehorn the tire into the hole thats what i would do.
Wow....31s with no lift look like complete crap? I didn't realize this, but thanks for your opinion.

|BlueBertha||I have 3" total lift and 31x12.50. I love the set up and have plenty of clearance after the quick connects come off. (I'm still figuring out the uploaded photo thing, but there are pics in my garage section.)|

I've got a 2 inch BB and 31's. I think the combo looks good and isn't too pricey. I'd rather have a 3 inch lift and 32's, maybe 33s with 1 inch body lift too, but the 31's were brand new when I bought it.
Warning, my 31's rubbed my control arms with the stock wheels, but with the Soft 8 rims, I got back my lock to lock turning and under $300 shipped from Quadratec.

The nice thing about 31X10.5X15 tires is they are very common on craigslist. All the hillbillys and high lift dorks end up offing the 31's for a huge loss.
I went ahead and ordered a zone 4.25 kit but was very tempet to do a BB or 2" coil lift for the simple fact you can buy mounted A/T or M/T 31's for $400.
I may just leave the body lift off and run a 3" lift with 31X10.5X15's.....big tires get lumpy easier and wide tires track like shit on a TJ anyway.

I agree that a slight lift does compliment 31's.... if he only wants 31's I would not go over 2-2.5"....
Here is mine last year on a 2" BB and 31's... and yeah... with disco's... you can wheel it pretty good...
other pic.... BEFORE the 2"BB and with 31's

Having said that I'm running rough country's 2.5 inch spring lift and have a 1" spacer in the front because the winch and bumper is over 150lbs, and there is plenty of room to flex
And gets the top of the rocker up higher to get high water out!

|blkrubi88||The cheapest is a 2" BB, but as stated above, you don't need a lift for 31's.|

|TnDz TJ||You don't need a lift for 31's.....they fit stock suspensions just fine...|

lift options and pictures for 31x10.50?
Set on getting a lift. just to many options out there. I'm on a budget so that's why i'm looking at rough country 3.25" lift. Anything else that is a little bit more that is worth it? Pictures would be cool to.
