1BLKJP I'm all for saving a buck when it's beneficial, but when you are talking about brackets on your axle I wouldn't scrimp on it. The bracket kit from M.O.R.E is well worth the money based on the perfect fit of the brackets and their strength.

ChrisTX For all the work you have to go through to put all those brackets on, you're wasting your time to save a few dollars. I've seen quite a few bent LCA and shock mounts. My 8.8 shock and LCA mounts are strong. Do it right the first time.

Yea, I've heard of it being done. You get what you pay for. The D-35 brackets are thinner.

8.8 swap questions

I just bought an 8.8 and was looking at the brackets needed for swapping into a tj and they cost more than what I give for the axle. I was wondering if I could use the brackets off of the original axle.
