Quintanaroo Getting mine the 21st give or take a day. I will be down for a trip down 81. I have done Peters Mill Run a bunch in an FJ Cruiser, it is about 1.5 hours drive and a good beginner trail. There a bunch further down 81 just past JMU on the VA/WVA border that are 2 1/4 hours away. I will post closer to that time and get a quick trip setup for late August early September if anyones up for it.

The trails in Roanoke(Taskers Gap, Peter Mill run) are farther away and still in the GWNF and are fun too. Check those out too

I'm a first time Jeep owner and have never been off-road in anything (except a wrong turn in my Mazda3), so go easy on me.

Thanks!
I am in the same situation and would like to find nice places to go. If anyone has anyplace to go I would be very interested.
