04 Sahara Cruise Control & Blower Switch

I'm new to Jeeps and just purchased a 2004 Sahara with 61,000 miles on it. The cruise control doesn't work and I'm hoping it is a fuse but can find no reference to it in the downloaded manual. I know there is a fuse pack behind the glove box and under the hood. Anyone know where the fuse for cruise would be? Also, the 1st and 2nd settings on the blower switch don't work, any ideas or suggestions? It looks like I can get to the back of the blower switch by removing the glove box but don't want to just stick my hand in there and mess up something else. Lastly, my Sahara is an automatic and it appears the previous owner messed with the shift handle as it will come off in my hand. The white plastic seems to be brittle and breaking up. They evidently replaced the original set screw with a metal screw and when I tighten it so the handle doesn't move around I can't shift from Park.

I now understand the old saying "buyer beware" as he said he didn't know of anything wrong with the vehicle... my bad. Thanks to all and I now know after just a few days why people love Jeeps!!

Steve
