I've picked up tons of used parts for my jeep - but never actually went to a junk yard. Once you figure out what you need, just check the classifieds on here, jeepforum.com, craigslist, and ebay. A lot of times, the junk yards will be more expensive than what you find online. Obviously this works best for smaller parts that are not expensive to ship. And here's a link for one other good resource:

|citricacid||Same, I've never seen a wrangler a pull-a-part. Used to go there all the time for Cherokee parts, which go incredibly fast. If its been on the lot very long, chances are its been fully scavenged(XJs that is).|

Good scrapyards for Jeep parts in Central Indiana?
Looking for a pair of rear gate hinges for my '01 Wrangler.... Any particular scrapyards in central Indiana good for finding Jeep parts?

I'm from Indy, just got a used 2001 Wrangler a few months ago.
