Yellow Monster TJ 35s I'm not sure about but I'm guessing it would weigh it down a bit. After a while it will wear out the hinges, I had to replace the hinges on mine from the 31s that were on there from the previous owner because the bottom pin broke and was barely on.

How much weight can the tailgate hold?

Just upgraded to 35s and now looking to build a new tire carrier. My question is can the stock tailgate hold the added weight of the larger tire? I would really rather not have a swing out carrier if I can avoid it but if not I can just build one of those and there are plenty of builds on here to look at.

Has anyone ever put a 35 on the stock tailgate?
