DeepSouthJeeper When I was just a kid, my uncle had a CJ7. It was blue with black rims and a I6 stick shift. For me, it was the very definition of cool. That was it, nothing else could even come close. He would take me and my bro for rides in it before he eventually sold it. I always remembered that jeep. So when it came time for me to get a car this summer I was able to end up with a nice yellow TJ with the I6 6 speed.

Beastmaster Not a wrangler, but I bought my first vehicle from my Grand Dad.
A 1959 Willys Station Waggon.

Here's my dad, brother and I with one of our many jeep projects. It's definitely a family affair!

1FUNJK So true I wanted a Jeep since the day I saw my first one. My daughter is the same way. Here is a pic of her trying to get into CJ-7 at 2 and standing in front of the JKU at 11 last week. She has decided that the JKU will be hers when she turns 16, I love it. I'm not ashamed to say we both shed a tear last summer when I had to sell the CJ-7.

AzTJ I agree. I still wish I could have held on to my Grandfather's CJ5 after he passed away. I remember bouncing around in the back of that thing as a little child, especially in the winter when he was plowing the roads for all the neighbors. Great memories. But I have my TJ now and am making plenty of memories of my own.

When I Was Little

When I was little and very very young, my grandpa's brother took me for a ride in hs jeep. We drove through the woods and through a river and over rocks and hills. I was just a little buddy. It was in the early 1970's. Every since jeeps have been the highlight of my life. Jeeps are just happiness. They are more than vehicles or transportation. Jeeps Are Happiness : )
