Jeep at heart Thanks for the input. I decided to pass on the Unlimited deal and purchase another Wrangler instead that came with both a hard and soft top.

phittie1100 We sold ours shortly after buying it in 2006. I wish I had it today, but only because my soft top is getting worn out and I am facing the cost of replacement in the next couple of years. But having lived with my soft top for six winters now, I will tell you the 3x sailcloth top is as warm in the winter as a hard top is - just no rear window wiper or defroster.

Looking for an '04 Unlimited hard top

Hi all,

I am certainly not new as a "Jeeper", as I have been driving Cherokees since the mid-1990's. However I just sold my 2000 Cherokee to my son-in-law and am in the process of buying my first Wrangler. I have test driven several and found the ride of the Unlimited to be pretty sweet, due to the longer wheel base. The problem is that the one I am scoping out has a soft top and this is going to be my primary driving vehicle through the next few Michigan winters. Thus I am looking for a TJL (Unlimited) hard top in nice condition in order to make this deal work out. I live north of Grand Rapids and hope someone can point me in the right direction.........please! Thanks in advance.
