Thanks! I got it for $100, it's still a little rough, but it's come a long way!

sonjason I just got a used 2011 silver JKU, but if I had my choice of Jeep colors this is it. These are great looking rigs.

Knuckles65 Jeeps are looking good guys!

Since I haven't posted any updated pics in a while, I'll just leave these right here.

Checking the flex but still working on shock length and bump stops -

I signed up for this forum when I saw how much knowledge is on here, especially the 2013 Info thread. I was really bummed at the dealer thinking I would have to wait another year to get a color I liked when I saw that Commando Green was going to be ready ~ September.

I knew immediately that was going to be my first Jeep! After searching for pics of this color and not finding any, I stumbled across Jakob101st's mock up in the 2013 Info thread. TOTALLY SOLD ME. After staring at my screen with bloodshot eyes from reading and looking at everything I could find on the 2013 JKU's, I PM'd him and asked if he could do another mock up of a Commando Green for my toolbox to help me count down the days,

and......

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO Jakob101st! You rock!
Hey thats Daves Jeep which is Orange.

Yo Adrian - what is that bumper? Do you have a straight on shot of it? I like the full width rampage bumper but sometimes it doesn't look like it matches up to the fenders right and I am not a huge fan of how it looks when going to flat fenders. Yours looks like maybe a better option.

The top will most likely never be on again since I have a 2nd car. I would like to add 1/2 doors over the winter. I always liked the Commando Green color since it came out and have only seen 1 JKU Commando Green close to where I live. My first vehicle I bought out of college was a new 1989 Jeep Sahara Olive Green, no AIR and a manual(loved it!!), my second car was a 1993 Jeep Sahara with AIR..:-) and sold that once I started to have kids. These new JK Jeeps drive amazing, I can't wait to get the lift, tires and wheels install, and the top off!!

I didn't have the winch when I removed the grill but I think I can still remove it if I tried....you don't need much room..

The grill was the first thing I did, took it off in 5 minutes and took it to the Line X shop..... and it cleans so easy, bugs come right off!

Captain Ed I think a blacked out grill with green fenders looks cool. I have the black fenders which I am gonna chop soon and I am not sure about blacking out the grill with that look yet. Nice thing is that it peels off.

Looks good! I'd say no to dipping the grille. The green is a nice contrast for the MBRP light bar.
