|Neil F.||You can pick up a used frame for around 100.00 or so. It probably would be a lot cheaper to cut the bent/broken portion and have a short piece of tube welded in.|

Smittybilt Soft Top Hardware
I spoke with Smittybilt directly today. They confirmed that, although they are marketing the hardware and pushing out technical information to their sales channels, they are not currently producing the hardware. Apparently, they are not convinced that there is a real market for an inexpensive soft top rear bow assembly for the TJ (guess they're a little out of touch). Bestop sells an OEM direct replacement, but you're looking at 4 c-notes for that, versus $130 for the Smittybilt hardware. No ETA on when it will become available.

TJ Soft Top Hardware
The drivers side rear bow on my TJ is bent (and breaking soon). I'm thinking about replacing the rear bow assembly with this part from Smittybilt. They say it fits my 2005 TJ SE, but the photo doesn't match. I'm guessing it's just a catch-all photo for the part (which they make for a number of different Jeep variants). Has anyone installed this part on a TJ and does it match the OEM part. I only want to replace the rear bow assembly, not the entire soft top hardware, so it's important that it matches up. Could really use a photo from one of you guys!. Tried calling Smittybilt, but the guy was just quoting me the same tech notes they have on the website and couldn't answer my question.
