|lwszabo||Yup I paid around 1800 however I got beadwork, bored throttle body, new radiator, new water pump, thermostat and thermostat neck, new exhaust header and mid pipes between header and my exhaust. I know everyone says head work/ throttle body porting is worthless however before 5 th gear was useless, now I can use it!|

I think I'm in your category -- I wouldn't mind replacing the heads before it becomes a side-of-the-road issue. Am I looking at $700 or $2000? This would pretty much consume my lift/tire budget, but it definitely takes priority since I'd like to still be behind the wheel of this rig at 200k+.
Is there truly no recourse with Chrysler? This falls into a "recall" in my opinion, but I also assume there is some kind of statute of limitations...

2000 4.0L Heads
I've seen several threads on post-failure actions, but not on what to do before. Is there anything I can do (currently at 75k) to be proactive?
