Gritty manual 6 speed trany

School me oh great ones (help).

I have a manual trany and have a few questions.
I drive a 2012 sport, manual 6 speed trany (4th vehicle with a stick), my second JP with a stick (had an 02 TJ) ,Trac-Lok Limited Slip Rear with 3.73.

Q1) When Iím in gears 1-3 and press the clutch I feel vibration in the clutch petal, when shifting, in gears 4-6 not so much (I think itís because the RPMs are lower). Iím not sure this is normal???
Q2) Sometimes when shifting from 1-2 or 2-3 and sometimes 3-4 when I press the clutch and shift the shift isnít as smooth as other times. Iíve been playing in my mind the shifts and that are all on flat road, not going up a hill or gunning it, but shifting under moderate speeds. is this normal?
Q4) When letting out the clutch and can sometimes hear and feel a little clutch slap, is this normal?

Iím wondering if I got a funky clutch or maybe Iím a little nutz.

My first jeep 02 TJ had a stick but it was only a 4 banger and I donít remember the same feeling, but the 4 banger was a little (haha) under powered. Iíve also owned a 06 Saab 93 6 speed, and a 09 MB C300 6 speed and the cars were very smooth and refined.

Thanks for the help,

BMacD
