|swkenobi||6'2 with no issues at all since installing mine even at 70-75 mph. It stays on full time now even with the hard top on. Love it!|

|Wheelerbob||I'm 6'4 and I don't have a problem ( it's very close but does not touch ), mine is also 2 years old and does not flap at all on side roads and only a little at 70 on the highway.|

|JeepinDave||I would say try spacing out the bungee "spider balls" differently. I know I had to play with the spacing on my roll cage/ windshield before everything was tight.|

|bryantom||I agree with everyone else, check your install mine doesn't flap at all except the very back edge. Your not driving from the rear seat are your?|
|08-10-2012 08:53 AM|
|cphilip||Its possible you have that section installed wrong. Perhaps even 90 degrees rotated. Or you have the rear section up front and visa versa... double check your install. It shouldn't flap.|

Interesting... Never heard of it flapping around like that, supposed to be quite tight. Mine is and never have that sort of issue... and I'm 6'3''.
Take it off and strap it back on? (less than helpful advice)

Did you get ultamesh or trail mesh? I have an ultramesh and i have zero flapping on my 05 and this is my second summer to use it.
It should be pretty tight once you have it on there...like i have to pull mine using the spider bungees pretty signifcantly to stretch it.
I am also 6'2

|Kentuckytj||Have you seen the extra supports they make for the soft tops. It is a arch support that goes between the windshield and the roll bar. It run side to side. I saw one guy on here make his own out of PVC pipe. I think he took a T coupling big enough to cut the back off of. This fit around the roll bar padding. He then reduced the diameter of the connection down to half or inch PVC and cut the support bar long enough to make a arch before connecting into another T on the other roll bar. I saw a picture in the fun creative mod thread. I don't remember what page. Might try it.|

|Tjrunner||I'm 5'9 so id have to leave the seat to hit mine .... but the ratchet strap might work, are the spiderballs in good shape?|

Spiderwebshade turns into chinese torture
I'm not really that tall...6,2.
Driving topless the spiderwebshade starts flapping a little and hits me on the top of my head..constantly. Tap..tap..tap...tap..driving me nuts.
Anyone with the same problem.... found a solution?
I was thinking about adding a ratchet strap in the centre so it would sit a little higher up.
