Just to reinforce the point I used to be in the shipping business. A winch line that looked fine on one of our ships snapped and decapitated one of the crew standing nearby. You have no time to react. Staying off to the side and behind the winch, or even inside the Jeep, will do the trick. Better safe than dead or seriously injured. Best to you!

tulsarubicon Safari straps next on my list I guess. Like that setup with the spidershade alot. I cart 3 kids around so the spidershade is a must.

Hope this helps. Look at it this way, if you mess up you were going to buy fenders anyhow! $40 for door trim molding is way cheaper than $600 plus for new fenders.

Red Belly Replaced the GY Dura-Tracs 265/75R16 with a set of Copper Discoverer ATP 285/75R16 and adjusted my speedometer with ProCal value settings to 31.7.00 to match with my GPS App.

WininUtah My wife put some 3M tape on the ACE sliders, installed the Jeep door sill guards and I put on a 24" AntennaX. Out here I pretty much only use Sirius so it's really only for appearance.

I know, I know. Many safety issues, but wired winch lines do kink and that's when you should be most precarious.

08steelblue Installed my 3.5 in metal cloak lift kit spring shocks front track bar rear extension bracket and front uppers among with a synergy HD tie rod and steering stabilizer (drag link was still good so I'm leaving it it for now) love the way it rides now smooth like butter

You think you would notice? You cannot 'notice' a steel line snapping until it's too late. I'm excited for ya, and happy that you were able to show off your winch....it's cool. But here's the thing: You, and whomever stepped over the line while taking video seriously need to take some time and study just how dangerous winch cable can be.
