I know I read somewhere that there were 500 made in 2000. According to this link i am a pepper. Just not the right year. But if Jeep made a limited number then maybe its not showing up on this list.

|iwannajeep wd||The door sticker will have the color code on it. Its on the drivers side door jamb. I got my build sheet and it was a P99 color code. Unreleased color. Look further up in this thread and i pasted what they told me about it.|

|iwannajeep wd||Can someone look at their door sticker and tell me what the color code is there. If it says PEA on the door sticker then I guess im not a pepper.|

I found touch up paint that say the code is PEA

|iwannajeep wd||My paint cods is 3548 on the door. What is yours?|

After reading a little, the p99 code means specieal bid paint, which means the original buyer of the jeep specified whatever color you have, look at number one on the link

My colorcode says PEA

OK guys. Just got this back from Chrysler.
I do thank you for your patience while waiting for a response back from
our technical assistance department. They have replied and stated P99
Unreleased Paint is all the information available for your specific VIN.
Due to the age of the vehicle and the use or shared sales codes, some of
the build sheet information maybe missing or incorrect. They have
advised you may need to refer to the Vehicle Safety Certification Label
in an attempt to obtain paint code information.
Although according to available information, the only red color
available for the 2000 Jeep Wrangler model year was PR4 Flame Red. PEA
Chili Pepper Red was dropped for the 2000 Jeep Wrangler model year.
So they are saying there are no 2000 Chilipepper Jeeps out there. Can you please look at your door sticker and let me know what color code you have. Mine is listed above in a previous post.
|01-30-2014 02:24 PM|
Would you look at your color code and tell me if it matches what I have listed in the post above yours. Chrysler can not help me out.

I wanna play!

Ok guys and gals. Here is the color code from my build sheet
Color P99- Unreleased Paint
Is this the same code that you all have?
On the door sticker the paint code is 3548.
I am waiting on a reply from Chrysler on the color but I know I can find it here sooner. Here is a pic so let me know what you think. And its a 2000 model.

'99 Chili Pepper
Here are a couple of pictures of my Chili Pepper Red '99. Recently rebuilt the front end, changed out the fender flairs, added a 3" lift and went with 33x12.5 Duratracks on 15x10 wheels. Looks good in the snow, but I can't wait for summer.

In the process of making some modifications. I'll post some pics soon.
I did find that pixeldecals.com has the Chili Pepper Edition stickers for those who are looking for them. I have two on the way.

Anyone know of a decently matching rattle can color that matches? I'm not looking to touch up the body paint but there are some interior parts I'd like to spray without having to purchase a quart of expensive auto paint.
