|TJeffro||Ditto on lubing the grommet on the firewall. I did that 2 weeks ago... no more squeaking. I used a silicone penetrant. I also hit the u-joints on the shaft while i was under there too. HTH.|

Instead of WD-40, spray something into that area that will last, like a white lithium-based lubricant. I have an aerosol can of lithium-based lube and that stuff is very good and long-lasting in that type application.

|khenderson||spray some wd40 right where the steering shaft goes through the firewall and then at the joint that's just inside the firewall in the engine bay. that helped mine when it squeaked.|

steering in cab squeaks...
the steering shaft housing in the cab squeaks when i turn the wheel.. similar to dry winshield wipers (the squeak)
