No it would show the stock gears, what problems are you having? I may be able to help or point you to someone who could.

You can do what I did call a dealer and give them your vin and they can look it up and see what it came with, but if there's no tag best thing to get a for sure answer pull off the cover and look at the gears the ratio is stamped on it, look up a pic of a Dana 30 and a Dana 44 your front is most likely to be a 30. But the rear my not be. But you can tell by the cover, look up my post in here there is a pic of all the diff covers from a guy that helped me with mine.

The jeep had 32" tires when I bought it, no idea if the speedometer gear was replaced by the p.o or not, so is 30 teeth stock or if not what is it?

I'm curious because I wondered if the speedo was accurate before or not
What gears do you have? I'm looking for one for my TJ with 3.73 gears and 33s

dontpanic 30 tooth is usually stock gear if your jeep was born with 3.07 gears and the 28/29in stock tire packages. Your speedometer would have been reading low on bigger meats. for 32's you probably need a 27tooth assuming 3.07s. Keep in mind most tires measure smaller than their nominal diameter (i.e. many 31's are really closer to 30in) - some of the charts I have run into on the 'webs are based off nominal diameter, you may have to to up one tooth depending on your tire package.
