AZ Trail runs -help please

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am looking for a way to get involved in some Arizona trail rides. Is there a group and/or club to join? what is the best way? I live in the Phoenix area and I'm ready to get mud on the tires. Suggestions appreciated.
