I agree with they are awesome, I wish I had my own

No as far as waving I wave and get waves from all most all CJ's, YJ's & TJ's but very rarely if ever from JK owners

macintux Got my Jeep back from the body shop after a month. Driving around my dad's neighborhood I got a wave and a "Hi Jeep!" from a 3-4 year old. Somebody's raising their kid right.

FiteClub Riding a pretty good wave streak right now... At least 7 or 8 returned waves in a row over the weekend cruising around the back roads outside of town.

Jeepalicious ^^ Sunglare! GBurkett I bet they just couldn't see you wave because you are now up higher!!! Or they were so dazzled by your 35 it momentarily left them lost in a fantasy of doing their own mods or heads down in shame over their little tires with eyes downcast in a gesture of humble subservience that they missed your wave! No worries - you'll retrain them

(Btw you are my inspiration - I'm in the process of "training" the 2-3 I see daily passing in the westbound lane around 5:30 weekdays - I mean - how does 1 billet NOT wave to another billet? I can be very persistent!)

gburkett Just put on my 35's and lost all my stock waives. Had all I past waiving when I was stock. Today I got 0 returned from the ones I had trained to waive back.

PS: I get the least responses from JKU hard tops...including men. (They must be thinking about what to make for their ladies for dinner...)
Me and my kids "chunk the duece" too.

Tru that. My aunt gets so upset with me because I mouth off at guys like that all the time out here and she's worried one day it won't end well for me. Frankly, I think they should be more afraid of me...

As for waving, I don't wave *every time* because it's often real clear when another driver isn't paying attention and not seeing me, but I never snub a wave I receive, and wave at least 90% of the time anyway. (Holla atcha TJ ladies!)

Is this guy for real, or a fake profile just to be able to act like aforementioned vaginas?

I will say, the 3 most common vehicles in my area are 1- Subarus, 2- Wranglers (all versions CJ-JK), 3- Cherokees (real Cherokees/XJ's). Few TJ's are owned by ladies, but most of the 4drs are driven by women and surprisingly, the women wave more than the guys. And it's usually the younger women (21-35ish from the ones I know). Either way, just wave. It's a Jeep thing, not a gender thing. For me it's not a wrangler specific model thing either. I've had a CJ, YJ, 2 TJ's, and an XJ. I have always waved and returned to all models. People need to stop thinking "my Jeep is better than yours so I'm not gunna wave" cuz that's not what it was ever about. It was about a common interest. Those of us that have a more adventurous side and didn't want to settle for a car/truck/SUV. No matter what your wallet and skill can do to your Wrangler, they all started out stock.

Wave on

Piece

I am a stock Wrangler owner not because I don't want the lift and the large tires!! Because I'm to busy putting money in it, to just drive it I live in upstate NY, way upstate! I always give the piece sign to all Wrangler's and I'd have to say most do give a wave back or initiate it if I'm not paying attention. The only one's who seem to snub their noses up are the new 4 door Wranglers! Guess their just better than me

flowerfistandbestialwail Got my first ever honk the other day. Was waiting at a red to make a right turn east and when the oncoming eastbound traffic stopped at their fresh red there was a lil stock JK at the front of one lane who honked when I didn't wave, figuring them to be too far away to notice even if they did care. Promptly made an enthusiastic albeit awkward wave while turning away from em and all was well

Huskie About 2,500 miles during the past few days, from MN to CA and back. Not many waves, and I even passed though Moab.

drspec was leaving the grocery store tonight when 2 jeeps come rolling through

first was a 4 door driven by a woman who didnt even acknowledge me

2nd was a 4 door driven by a man. he started tooting his horn and flashing a peace sign at me.

cracked my wife up and made my day

sduphily I ran completely stock (on the outside) for a good year...small upgrades until last weekend (2 1/2 years old) and I must say that 90% of the time here in Delaware I get the wave.

I have noticed though that it is very rare on separated highways. Mostly get waves from the guys with no doors on the seperated roads. 2 lane highways...it's happening...doesn't matter what year, upgrades, or who is in it.

What I have noticed more recently though are the blacked out interior ones and it's difficult to see anything inside...not sure what those guys/gals are doing.

I don't recall seeing a single post on here that says they don't even wave back to stock JKUs who wave first, so don't be discouraged lots of folks have given up waving to jk(u)s but will gladly return any wave they receive from one! Also just keep in mind not everyone "gets" the wave, or pays attention to other vehicles on the road. Most wave snubs for me have been from drivers who weren't paying attention
