I guess you could say it just likes to play at the mall.
OP, you have a lot of research to do. As I've already told you and as you've obviously missed, there's a lot more to running big tires than just fitting them. There's a lot more to suspension than "lift", which literally means nothing of value. Educate yourself on the subjects and revisit the idea once you know what you're doing.

Since you are not answering the questions of what you will use your Jeep for.... I will assume you want to stay on the street and not take it to the extreme offroading trails.
Since you asked about suspension... I will assume hacking up the body is not an option...
With that... you may run 35's on a 4" lift and small body lift of 1-1.25" if you feel the need.

|wranglermatt4527||If one of your suspension parts fails due to shotty workmanship or premature wear.... really unsafe. Look for good quality parts, youre life literally depends on it.|

|UnIuckychucky||What do you mean safer?|
|08-21-2012 10:44 PM|
|wranglermatt4527||I think to run safely most will say 5 inches of lift. 4" susp and 1" BL/MML. As far as brand.... theres always a constant debate as to who is better or safer or who is not. Just read some reviews from 4 or 5 different companies and see who has the most complete lift. Look at other threads on here and look for some of the more experienced guys, read what they run. And remember youll get what you pay for most times.|

|UnIuckychucky||Well I just want to know what lift people run with 35s and what works well|

|wranglermatt4527||Look into Metal Cloak fenders or something of the same nature. They lift the fenders up so you may not need as much lift. My goal is to run MC fenders and a 2" or 3" spring lift with Control Arms and Johnny joints from Currie. Theres a host of other parts to go along with it and none of it is cheap. I know it's different for each individual... but I couldn't run 35's on my 4" lift and 1.25" BL right now... I would tear my junk up big time!!!
I guess the previous q's need answers... goals for usage of your Jeep?
Mall Crawler and dirt roads to wild full tilt butt-pucker rock crawlin... which is it?

|wranglermatt4527||MetalCloak fenders allow a 35 with no lift. Just sayin.... ^^^ Imped "no minimum" is right but it seems like you are aiming for the wrong target here. What is your rig used for? Do you need tons of flex for trails or just to tuck the tire to crawl the mall?|
|08-21-2012 07:58 PM|
|Imped||There are no rules, therefore there is no 'minimum' to fit them. However, there are far more important things to pay attention to than simply fitting a tire. In that regard, you're doing it all wrong.|
