Combat Goldfish Garmin's are where it's at, they seem to outlast other brands, have better maps and are more accurate.

JCS05Rubi I have used the TomTom PDA software on a Palm phone. Worked real well, much nicer than the "in dash" car units for the most part. I heard the new version 6 is even sweeter.

kg4kpg I personally use a garmin GPSMAP 60 Cs. Never used the Tom Tom or similar devises before. Get a good unit and some Topo software and you should be set.

Gps?

New to the forums, just bought a 99 Wrangler 4.0.

Anyone know a good portable GPS that will show trail maps? I currently Have a TomTom One XL and it doesn't have an offroad feature.

or if someone knows a way to get the third program "Offroad" to work properly on the One XL would be great too.

Thanks
