I'll try to get some pictures, but I might have to email them to you. I don't have a photo sharing site set up anywhere yet

I have two 10's in the trunk(area), I customized the box so it would fit and bolted a 1"x1" scrap of wood I reinforced with re-bar(drilled the hole, added compious amounts of guerilla glue and vualla) ontop that fits under the lip on the sides so you cant pull them out.

|wtbiv73||I've got an 8"sub built into an easily removable box. Don't worry, no matter where you put your sub you'll hear it, Jeeps are small.|

I built a box that fit inside my instatrunk to hold a 10" sub. I cut a hole in the front of the trunk and bolted the sub to it so it is firing into the back of the rear seat. I bolted the amp to the front of the trunk also and it all sounds pretty good. I still have barely enough room left inside the trunk for my rolled up trail cover so I can leave the top and doors off all summer and not be too worried about the 20% chance of thunderstorms that we have all summer long here.
With the rear seat in you can't see anything so I'm not too worried about someone trying to steal it.

|alexnelson250||And also if it would be possible to put an amp in the in the Instatrunk. Would the tailgate provide enough airflow or should I mount it beneath one of the seats|

Bestop Instatrunk Sub
I'm wondering if anyone has put a subwoofer into their Instatrunk and if it is a good idea or if it would sound bad.
