I also drive a black Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Big Horn with a personalized license plate that says CAVEDVR.
I'll wave if I see you. Good looking Jeep, by the way.

It's hard to miss, it's red, safari top (or not, I've been running it without anything the last couple days), 33's, black Cragar soft 8's, boomerang shackles front and rear, no spare (I keep it and the carrier in my garage), Warn winch, 4" lift, etc.
I'll look out for you. I've got a buddy at the airport with me who drives an orange TJ Rubicon. You've probably seen that Jeep cruising around as well.

Here she is, what does yours look like? There is a red YJ I see around alot and another modified TJ.
I live just north of the airport actually.

|cballou||Have you had a chance to get out there with your jeep? (and by chance take any pictures) I just bought a jeep this summer and have been looking to do something with it. I live in Ellsworth KS and didn't grow up around here so I don't know of any places in the area to go offroading.|

Post a pic of your Jeep. Maybe I'll recognize it.

Trails in Concordia, KS
I was doing a training flight over North Central Kansas the other day and was flying over Concordia. About 2 miles north of town, there were a bunch of offroad trails near the river. I made a mental note of it and figured I'd go check it out when I had the chance. It's only about 50 miles north of where I live in Salina, but I didn't want to waste my Jeep's gas to go up there, especially if the trails turned out to be bunk, so I took my truck, my girlfriend, and my dog instead of the Jeep. Turns out, the trails were made by a bunch of guys with quads, but a lot of the trails are plenty big enough for a Jeep. Now, there's nothing technical about any of the trails I saw, but I saw a ton of trails that would be plenty of fun for a day of Jeeping. I'm sorry, I didn't think to take the camera, so I don't have any pics, but I'm planning on going back up that way here soon when I get my Jeep put back together. I'll take some pics at that point. If anyone is interested in heading up that way, the trails are 2 miles north of Concordia on 81 (the only major north/south road in the area...impossible to get lost). You'll go across the river bridge to the northern side of the river and there will be a turnoff to the right. That turnoff will take you down under the bridge and to the staging point for the trails.
I figured I'd post this here in case anyone was interested in a (decent) wheeling spot in north central Kansas. It's no Tuttle or Ks Rocks, but it's way better than a dirt road.
