No. There really isn't a way you can do it without welding. You need to open up the caged nuts inside the body, and then close them. You could do.I.all ghetto.with screws or bolts or something, but it wouldn't look good at all.

Scottie Daddy Honestly break the damn things off. Drill and cut the holes like others mentioned. Get some new grade 8 bolts and nuts. Lock washers are good to throw on there too. Have someone hold a backup in the cab while you lay on the ground and tighten the new boots in place. Good luck!

94Wrangler4.0 Are you using an impact or by hand?

Squeeze Yeah blast then with pb every couple hours and then try. We ended up heating it with a blow torch and eventually just cutting into the floor and taking it out through there because we snapped it

It is pb blaster. It is a lube specially made for things like this. You can pick up at any auto parts store.

OverkillYJ Drill a 3/16 hole over each caged nut on the interior and use the hole to soak with some oil for about a week before you even try again. I only got a few to loosen, had to cut open all the rest and remove the caged nut and replaced. I also had to cut about half the body mounts in half to remove them since the bolts were rust welded into them. Took me three days to properly remove a 3" body lift, and I knew what I was getting into. I hope you have better luck. But plan for the worst. They are a common nightmare that you should research a lot. I also broke a couple with a breaker bar which was extra fun.

Soak that bad boy with pb. Try to tighten then loosen, then tighten then loosen. Sometimes this works as opposed to just turning one way! Good luck!

BlackedOutYJ On one of mine I had to cut a hole in my floor board to get access to it. Then I cut it all out an welded in a new nut. Hopefully you won't have to do all that, you may wanna cut a small hole in your floor board and soak it with some PB Blaster for a day and try again.
