Bike4life Gig Harbor here.

I bought my first ORV back in Feb. A 2012 Wrangler Sport. While I had the temp plates still on it, Fell in with Bob K and company and they helped me figure out this whole ORV stuff. Great group.

FYI: I just visited Tahuya on my own the other weekend. If you go, suggest you keep the top on. It's really dusty. I spent two days vacuuming and washing the inside of my rig afterwords

Yeah, take 'em up Anarchy or Big Rocks. Those are perfect for first-timers.

Mr. Fish Keep an eye out for a Tahuya run. Great place to get your feet wet, so to speak. I wouldn't recommend Evans Creek until you've been someplace easier first.

And read up on the Discover and NW Forest Service passes. A good place to see which you need for where: Washington Trails

chrlswltrs I see people talk about permits and stuff. I really have no idea about any thing like that. I just want to get out there!

zeprider25 where you going chrlswltrs?
07-04-2012 03:21 AM
chrlswltrs Maybe it is because summer hasn't started yet in Seattle?

I am trying to find some people and go off roading on Thursday. I work a weird schedule of being on call 24/7 and never having the same schedule 2 weeks in a row.

Mitchness The Spokane/CdA thread has plenty of banter last I checked. :/

nwbronco Roger. We have been actively posting runs, to Tahuya, Tillamook, Long Beach and now Evans Creek. If you keep checking, we post up here when we plan one. Scroll down and you will see them all.

Why is the WA forum so slow?

On both cherokeeforum.com and NAXJA, the local forums are super busy with people chatting and planning trips.

Why not for Wranglers?
