FYI people we aware tanks without dimples are bad news.
The lack of dimple on this particular skid plate cause the ring on top of the tank to pop and allow all kinds of garbage into my tank eventually clogging the fuel pump and leaving me stranded on the side of the road.
I suggest finding a better skid and avoiding extreme metal products, this design flaw is unforgivable.

the skid I bought worked great!
you would not need a body lift to use it, it raises the tank but not higher than the stock mounting point which is still a good ways under the tub.
I would recommend the one i bought, it fit perfect, held the tank nice and snug using the stock straps. the Welds were really nice, and it had a good thick powder coat so it should last a nice long time. Im very happy with it

I dont believe so ... but
Most of the skid plates I've researched say they don't, some say they do on the rubicon, I can take some measurements old and new on mine to see how much room is actually allowed and post them up here. I do have a 2" BL so if theres less than 2" clearance we'll know it wont work

On the bright side...
The skid plate about tore in half, which means I had to order a new one.
New skid plate, new straps, and new pump assembly on on the way.
can anyone say tummy tuck?

the flow is going the proper way (only one way it can be installed)
I did not replace the fuel filter, it is an internal non serviceable part.
I popped the pressure valve at the rail and only air came out, but nothing I did seemed to be able to get it started...
I do not have a fuel pressure gauge...
off to napa...

HELP: wont start
I just replaced my fuel pressure regulator and now it won't start.
When I first finished it started up ran rough for a few, then calmed down and ran fine. I shut it off and tried to start it up again and it burbled around at about 100 rpm sounding horrible, dyeing when I gave it throttle, now it wont start at all.
what are some possibilities?
