Absolutely do not need a lift with 235's.
My 30" would be fine with decent stock shocks
|09-03-2012 08:56 AM|
oh it wasn't really hard to put the lift on. i did mine in my driveway with hand tools and a grinder with a cut off wheel and a lot of pb blaster. it took a day and a half.
|09-03-2012 08:22 AM|
2.5" lift would open up room for 31" tires.

|markharmon||You did 2.5" lift. Was it a spring lift? How about rims? Do they have any offset? Any issues with tires rubbing leaf springs in a sharp turn? I'm starting a similer build, but starting a lot further back. Have a lot of rust repair. I talked to 4wd and they suggest 2.5" lift with 235`s and a slight offset sheet.|

Wheels and tires made the biggest difference.
The 2.5" lift was springs and shocks ?
Easy to install ?
I need to do that.
I have 30" tires on now and they rub. Looks much better than the stock 215 tires though ! :-)
