Womjello Since you said "puddles" instead of "river" you may be alright. If it is turning over but not starting it could be something As simple as water intrusion into your Ignition cap or coil. What year? Oh and the search feature works great at this forum. You are definitely not the first person this has happened to.

Really need some advice - possible water in engine

I was driving my jeep down some back roads downtown Orlando last thursday, it was raining and the streets had water built up on the sides, needless to say I ran straight through the puddles and got to where I was going. The next morning she wouldn't start, opened up the engine and let her dry out (except for the spark plugs because I could not get them out (no tools) tried to start her again and the engine would not catch, battery is working, car attempts to start but just cannot.

Anyway, I kind of need some help or advice. Thanks.
