San Rafael Swell


Planning on taking the back way from, say, Caineville, to somewhere near the junction of I-70 & 24 along the west side of the waterpocket fold Monday, probably leaving from that old Rim Lodge near Torrey 9/11. Just one jeep so far, if anyone's interested.

I don't know the name of the area so Dirtopia's no quick help. Satellite maps don't show some routes going through.

We'd like to go through the ridge at a passage as scenic as the one near Goblin Valley, but further north if there is one.

Guess I'll have to try every Utah trail in Dirtopia in case it's in there...

Any tips? Any trail names, even? Even a topographical map name would help at this point.
