Outlawmack Not yet. I've been doing a few things to make it run better (motorcraft carb swap And HEI). The 4wd isn't working in high range. I guess there's a clip on the transfercase that's broke. I'm putting a twin stick on it, then ill hit the trails

Tarby No problem...had a 1979 Renegade CJ5 for 3 months before I sold it back in 1994...Ugliest damn thing I ever had...never did take pics of it. It was Green with the orange, brown, yellow Renegade package...

I bought it from a Repo man I worked with at the time when I was in college. Had no 1st gear or reverse (t15 3 speed), but with the 304 in it, I started it out in 2nd, and then slammed her to 3rd. More rust holes in it than swiss cheese...I don't even miss it after all these!

Outlawmack Thanks for the stripe info Tarby

Outlawmack I don't know about the stripes mud. The jeep use to be brown, so maybe that's all the previous owner put back on

Div. it's in pretty good shape. Hard top has a piece missing on the passenger side between the door and window, rear hatch and a spot on the drivers door has a rust spot and the drivers floor pan is rusted. Other than that its in pretty good shape. Good platform to build on

mudmagnet63 I'm looing at buying a simular one it's a 79. Are the decals on the hood standard like the one's in the pic. I thought their was some stripes across the hood and rocker stripes.
