Lift kit tire help

Hi all I just got my rough country 3.75 inch combo kit for my lj, I'm running 30's right now, and don't have the money to buy the 33's I want yet, is it safe to put the lift on my rig and drive with the 30's for a bit or should I wait until I have the new tires? Any opinions or help is appreciated! Thanks
