Drake27 That is a good question. I am planning on dropping the tank sometime this week, that will be the first thing I check.

I may have just discovered (the hard way) what might have been your problem. Any chance the smaller o-ring of the regulator stayed behind when you removed the original regulator?

Drake27 Thanks for the help, I will buy a factory part. I'm kicking myself for not doing that in the first place. And now I will hope AZ will take it back.

FWIW, a genuine Mopar regulator can be had for about the same price as AZ charges for its part.

Have a manufacturer/part number for the new regulator?

Drake27 I did lube the O rings. I compared the new with the old a the stem that should mate to the fuel pump is about 1/16 of an inch longer on the new one. Should this make a difference.

Fuel Pressure Issue

I am a first time poster with a question about my jeep. I am having issues with long start times. if I cycle the fuel pump once or twice it will start right up. I tried replacing the fuel pressure regulator, the problem is i can't get the new one to seat properly on top of the fuel pump. All the pushing in the world is not helping. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
