Kf4pwb the kind of tires you put on the jeep will make a difference in ride quality. rubicon comes with a much more aggressive tire than sahara. i'll bet that if they both had the same tires on you could hardly tell a difference

Raluca If "On Road" experience between Sahara and Rubicon, then I would not hesitate with the Rubi. I am just worried Sahara might be a smoother ride...that's all. Anyone who drove both and can attest to driving experience on highway at 70 miles per hour? THANKS SO MUCH.

1SAS The Rubicon isn't just a "model upgrade with fashionable options". It is the best jeep that Jeep puts out. It has the best axles and brakes than any other jeep. It has the best suspension than any other factory jeep. If you want a factory jeep for "Off Road", Rubicon is the way to go. If you want a factory jeep for "On Road" than the Sahara is a great model. I can't imagine the ride on the road being that much different between the two. If you are getting a great deal on a Rubicon, get it. Those deals don't come around often, at least not in my neck of the woods.

coleyyyyy_ Hey! So I was debating over the same thing and the Sahara does ride more like a regular truck. The Rubicon is bumpy because of what its made for like u said. I chose the Sahara, but goodluck!

Jeep Newbie: Purchase Decision - Help!

Hi - I've been agonizing over buying a Sahara versus Rubicon. I've found a great deal for a Rubi with all the option imaginable (navigation, dual top, remote start etc) and it is actually a better deal than most Saharas. My main concern is that the Rubi is a rougher ride than the Sahara given what it's been designed for. A deal told me that the Sahara rides more like a regular car - it is much smoother and more comfortable - is that true? Are the two rides comparable for highway which is what I'be be using the car for mostly and will I be missing something that the Sahara has that the Rubi doesn't? Thanks so much! Need to make my decision by tomorrow!
