2" BB, 1.25 BL
3" FT lift, 1.25 BL
Go for the 3" lift, throw in a BL, you'll be much happier. I wish I did the lift first, could have used the BB $ on other mods.

|Jma20a||i would say to go with the 3" setup, that way you can make sure that you have everything needed to do a proper lift. most kits have new control arms and track bars most have a transfer case drop kit.|

2"bb + 1"bl vs 3" suspension lift
i'm in the preliminary stages of mapping out the first step i will be taking with my stocker. right now i have 31's with a stock suspension. i do know that i only want to go with a 3" lift with 33's since this will be my daily driver (for a while at least) and I don't want to go too extreme.
i'm debating about whether to get a 2" bb + 1" bl, or go with a straight 3" lift. is there really much to gain by going with a 3" lift instead of 2+1? i know the frame would be 1" higher, but i plan on putting some various armor pieces on underneath regardless.
i'm fairly new to offroading and i don't plan on going too extreme, but i want to make sure that if i'm at full flex that the bb setup won't drop a spring out or something because of the lift puck.
any input is appreciated. thanks guys
